Hannah is a designer, researcher, and urban ecology educator in Los Angeles. She received her BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Chicago and her Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Urban Planning from the University of Southern California.

Her research interests include California native plant ecology and restoration, the Los Angeles River, livability and equity in urban design, access to green space, critical cartography, and urban heat adaptation and mitigation. She loves really long walks, sewing clothes, daydreaming, and taking drone selfies (pictured at Rio de Los Angeles State Park with a DJI Mavic Mini above).
